Good grief. Deeply etched in the limestone. The food's different (very), the dialects are different, the socio-economic circumstances are distinct and the entire paradigm is significantly shifted. I may have a problem with Yorkshirepersons but they're better than those effete southerners, some of whom (it is rumoured) are Arsenal supporters!
Pass the tripe would you?
