RE: Photographing Strip Malls (Radio Shack)

There is a good Radio Shack in Portage, Michigan in Crossroads Mall (sorry, not a strip mall).  When I needed a belt for an obscure turntable, they could get it.  Radio Shack sells finished goods that are garbage.  However, if you have that adventurous fix-it attitude, all Radio Shacks have what you need, just make sure to bring along a length of 2x4 to put the saleperson out of his misery when he opens his mouth.  Now, in Egypt, Radio Shack has turned into a source for "higher end" audio equipment.  I'm sure those of you who have been in New York know well enough not to buy any electronics in the shops offering amazing bargains from immigrants with hygeine issues, well, they have those shops here in Cairo as well...and I still won't buy from them.  But there's a  Radio Shack around every corner here it seems.  And they actually sell some respectable audio equipment versus the North American prototype.  As for bits and pieces, they are VERY limited and almost worthless.  As a matter of fact, it's about time for me to pick up one of those mosque alarm clocks that when it goes off, it gives a painfully loud call to prayer (for my brother, when he least expects it).
