I did not 'go' to sepia. This is a color photograph, no manipulation at all, no over saturation, no desaturation, no sepia. It is as seen in the camera. I guess that's one of the reason why I love it. Can we say 'monochromatic'? >take out most of the info to the right and a lot from the bottom as >well. Sorry, I'm not cropping one pixel out of this baby. It's art :-) Ok, maybe some of the left and right would go if I need an 8 by 10 format print. >Really like the sharpness and clarity. Amazing, isn't it? Well, there's a story here too. This image is cropped out of the centre of an image. It's 100 percent size as, a mere 900 odd pixels on the long side. It's like shooting on a 1.2 megapixel camera, or perhaps a cellphone has more res these days :-) As well, this was shot at ISO 800 and a bit noisy, so I softened it in Neatimage, used my history brush, and took it down to my lab for a 10" by 15" Frontier print. Wow, it's a georgeous print! There is no sign of a pixel, a grain or noise, even up close. Now I ask you, does the Canon 10D rock?
