Marilyn, thanks for such a beautiful message. Let's call it a truce and call Jan back? ;-)
I think, same goes with badly created photographs (either our own or others'), it is an opportunity to think and contemplate what can be improved upon; that's why reviews and reviewers on Photoforum are so important, even if their words sometimes seem little unappreciative for some of the photographs.
