The black ink seems to be leaking very slightly on the green rollers.

A colleague of mine had a similar experience. She was unable to stop the leaking and had to take her 1280 in for service. The repair shop reported that the printer was faulty. I don't remember the specific details but an important internal bit of plastic had "cracked." Epson covered the repair and the printer has worked fine since.
