Photography: Digital and Conventional, Asst. Professor
California State University, Fresno, Dept of Art and Design
Beginning Fall 2004 (Full-time tenure track)

Excellent opportunity to become part of dynamic Art and Design Dept. Located
in the ideal setting of sunny Fresno, CA (metropolitan area population
approx. 900,000), the city offers the uniqueness in California, of
reasonably priced housing/cost of living. Excellent schools, recreation,
major cultural activities, art opportunities. University offers very strong
faculty support. Department is vibrant, supportive, and forward thinking.
We seek a photographer to teach all levels of photography as an art medium.
Background in black and white, color, contemporary digital photography.
Instructional level: undergraduate/graduate. MFA with emphasis in
photography, background in historic evolution of photography as well as
knowledge of and appreciation of contemporary concepts and digital
photography required. Expertise in animation, 2D and 3D computer art are
highly desirable. Applicants encourated to apply by Jan. 31. Position open
