Perhaps the new canvas had some blueing in it that fluoresced? Perhaps you were changing the camera angle a bit? Did you move around? If so, i am guessing that there was one hot spot on your background that caused a combination of flare and flourescence that gave an overall blue cast and loss of contrast when it was included in the shot. Of course, I could be wrong. Can you show us an example? r
