Kostas Have you tried "Replace color" under Image/Adjustments. It allows you to make a selection and change the color at the same time. I'm sure there are many ways to do it. This is one of the things I like about Photoshop, there are numerous ways of doing just about everything, depending on how much you want to get into it. Good luck.
