This week we have the greatest variety of photos I have seen in quite awile.

Robin Ramos Heavens Eye.
Wow! very striking. If you hadn't given the exposure and the use of fill
flash,I would have thought this was a photoshop creation. My only suggestion
would be to possibly tone down a bit the bright spot in the sky. It overwelms the
rest of what is a great shot.

Rich Mason--Aspen Colorado
Strong graphics. Was this literally taken from the road? I like the design
elements,It's hard to make out what it represents, but who cares. At first I
thought itwas the entrance to one of Aspen night spots.Good composition and color.
Rich your doing what I have dreamed of for years. Cross country trip ala
Robert Frank.
Keep us posted on your adventures.

Christopher Stevens---Guilford Cathedral
A fine example of good architectural photography. The lighting in most church
interiers can be a challenge. Your verticals and perspective are right on.

Me---Street portrait
This chap was sitting on 14th street in Manhattan playing bonjo drums.

Bob Talbot---Passer-by
Cheez! you in my territory again? I'm going to have to find some poor bugs to
molest. Actually this is a well conceived street shot. It leaves the viewer
with a Question, what is the kneeling couple doing? The womens red dress and the
figure on the left make for a balanced and dynamic composition. One of my
favorites this week.

Harvey Duze---Dupont Circle
Brr. Classic Currior & Ives. The red Umbrella makes the picture. The only
change you might consider is to crop a little off the forground. Try it and see
the difference I like this very much.

Louis Smith--- Spring in Victoria
Usually I would say" hohum" another flower picture. but this one grabbed me
for it's technical excellence. Great sharpness and depth of field. good
composition.

D.L.Shipman---Happy Herons
If Herons bought photographs they would be happy with this one. Good example
of proffesional nature photography. I would submit this to a stock agency,if
you belong to one.Very saleable to the right market.

Dan Mitchell---Military Man
As an amatuer gardener I can appreciate this. Having never seen or heard of
this species. Clear sharp record of a rare bird.

Rubin F.Diehl---Ticiana
If people would spend more time reviewing and photographing than clucking
about pubic hair,we would all be richer for it. When are we giong to stop being
such prudes? I object to the pubic hair, but not for moral ,but for aesthetic
reasons If you cropped your photo above the pubic area compositionally it would
make for a stronger photo. The short section of her legs are discordant to
me.At the same time try cropping some of the right side,so that she would be
looking into the picture, instead of out.

Bill Ellis--- Traffic Jam
Well at least you had something creative to pass your time with.instead of
fuming.Besides what do you expect at a toll gate. This shot reminds me of many a
day spent during my working years. Ah, blissfull retirement!.

Sonney Labay--- WTC Site
This must have been taken from the Bklyn side. Idon't see the Solararium on
the Hudson side. Dramatic colors Sharp detail of an often photographed subject.

Thanks to all for a fine selection of images. By the way as a reviewer I get
as much or more benifit than the reviewee. I strongly feel that one of the
prerequisites for submission to the forum should be to do an occasional review.
Andy if you are reading this,What do you think?
