I went to a hardware store yesterday that sells just about every tool other than wrenches. They have pliers, hammers, screwdrivers, clamps etc., but no wrenches of any kind. Thinking I had just missed them, I asked the manager who told me they don't sell wrenches, then walked away. I didn't ask him why don't sell wrenches for fear they might have a valid reason which would really ruin the moment.
