I've been using the e-10 for a couple years now, for portrait, landscape, macro it's great... you may want to consider the power grip with the lithium/polymere battery, it uses a lot of power. I use it for theatrical poses a lot..........produce very good promotional images for the theaters/productions. The biggest drawbacks are slow shutter speed and shutter delay. I have also used the Olympus attachable lenses with good results... powers are a bit light though. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Russell Baker" <rebphoto@pronetisp.net> To: "List for Photo/Imaging Educators - Professionals - Students" <photoforum@listserver.isc.rit.edu> Sent: Saturday, April 05, 2003 9:10 AM Subject: Choice of Digiatal Camera > Hi Gang.............. > > Some time this summer I plan on finally buying > a digital camera., what I am looking at is either > a used Olympus E 10 or a Minolta DiMage 7. > > I seem to favor the E10. > > I am going to use this for actors Head Shots > so the ability to EASIALY use studio flash > is VERY important!!!!!! > > Does anyone have any experience with either camera? > > > > Russ > R.E.
