Here in Brazil a good photo frame is very expensive ... today I was researching about the price for 10 50x60cm frames (no glass because I would transport it and want no broken glass), wooden frame of 3cm ... it would cost 1/3 the price of a brand new Minolta IVF flashmeter.
To construct your own frames you'll need a special tool to cut the corners of the frame diagonally, a wooden electric cutter, and some other tools ... if you buy the bulk frame and cut it yourself the costs would drop at least 50% ... it worths the investiment and I'm planning to do that.
Yours,
Charles
