Like every year.......(After too much good food and Adult beverages).......I got hit-up at my spouse's Office Christmas party about recommendations for cameras/digital media/camcorders/etc............ I don't KNOW this stuff........My pro equipment is all 20+ years old.........and still uses that old-fashioned stuff called "film"............ SOOOOO........the question to the List members is: "Where can a savvy consumer find Information on various camcorders?.........." Specifically, "M" currently owns a G-2 (what's that?) and is looking to purchase a Sony Camcorder (Two models....$800 or $1500.....what's the difference)........They have family/kids/activities....They use the Home Computer for movies/prints.........Any ideas?Web-sites?Personal opinions?
