Trust each other, enjoy the event and capture the visuals as parents have done for generations. Fear of pedophilia is up, but not the stats. What will they do when their baby girl is in a parade in leotards, a tutu and a baton ? Forbid others from filming/photographing ? But they'll clown for the media cams, from where pervs will capture the images anyway.
Terrorizing oneself by buying into the media fear-hyping machine is a miserable way to live. From all the hoaxes being eagerly passed-on in the web, it is obvious paranoia was rampant long before 9/11.
Strange days indeed.
