The full scale images are what the contributors submit for us to look at: the thumbs are what Andy produces for us as a way of indexing the images. It is more than just scale it is what we choose to include. On one occasion I reviewed here I noted first what I thought of the thumbs then how I saw the images after opening them: the two are poles apart. For me some images never get sent because at 400x300 pixels (72 dpi for the technically challenged) there just is not enough detail to do the detail justice. Q
