RE: Aperture & Shutter speed of cheap camera

Yes she is a stylin' lady but she might actually go for digital. She's quite strong willed though. She asked me if she could take a picture so I said sure. My camera is a 1950's German, all mechanical, steel weapon weighing about 35 lbs. I dread the sound of it smashing to the floor but she hasn't dropped it yet and I believe in letting my kids participate in my activities. She said she wanted to take a picture of her brother's birthday card.

"Why?" I asked.
"I want to," she replied as she set it on a crowded table.
"Maybe it would look better on this empty table."
"I want it here. Can I have the camera please?"

She took the shot her way and looking at the negative, it doesn't look bad and perhaps one day, being her first photo, it will be very valuable. Was it Picasso who said all children are artists?

Sorry for the sappy rambling but I just love my kids.

Greg

Yes, Alan, but...there's no bear up front, and this is one stylin'
lady....:) Great suggestion. Where can one see a pic from this
machine ?
