I need to buy a scanner to scan prints & slides at a
quality good enough for the internet. I don't have a

The magazine 'P C World' just named the -Epson Perfection 1650 Photo- as Best Product 2002 in its scanner review. $249 - 1600 x 3200 dpi and in 48-bit color.

I don't have one - but have used the less expensive Epson 1250 - and was pleased because it did 'prints, negatives & slides' - in color or B/W. (plus a good Optical Character Recognition program)
