T'aint the lens that shoots half the head. It's the shooter's vision that includes only half the head. Obviously the shoe and the aggressively receding perspective were what the shooter's vision chose. Or else the shooter just put the camera on the floor and tilted it up a bit, hoping for an alignment with the leg...... And lost the top half of the head along the way.
