Yes, this was the Sony 707. I am using the Tiffen 87 filter and a .6
ND - it was about 11am and sunny. I shot it in 'nightshot' mode,
handheld, so the exposure was about f2-2.4 and 1/60sec depending on
the zoom. In photoshop I did levels, and a gradient map to get rid of
color cast and convert to B&W.
If I remember correctly only one of the images was done on the tripod without the
nightshot mode. 707 has enough IR sensitivity in normal/manual mode to
get f2 at about 1-2 sec exposure with the 87 filter. But most of the
pictures were not pre-planned, so I didn't have a tripod with me.

What I am surprised is that the camera can obtain focus in manual mode
with the 87 filter most of the time.

I wish I had a higher-cut filter (Tiffen 87c or RM90) that would
eliminate the need for the ND filter when it's too bright, but that's
major $ that I didn't want to spend (yet).

During the last photo-walk, of all the pictures that I took, there was
only one in color... (warning: IR addiction in proress :)
