You suppose?  

But you'll notice that people who appreciate his work often appreciate
it very strongly, too (I'm thinking especially of Boberto's recent
post on that).  If a number of people like it that way, particularly
people not given to political artistic opinions, then there's very
likely something there.  Even if I can't find it.
