Mine had fire hoses and water balloons from the floats, followed by, in the 90+ degree heat, relay races, obstacle course and and an egg toss that 12 dozen pairs of people participated in. Next was the fire department sprinker hose, a couple a hundred kids of most ages running and diving and jumping through the 30 foot wide fan of water. To finish off the afternoon out came the foam nozzle - 8" of foam (the type the fire departments use to cut off air from a car fire) covering an area the size of a baseball diamond. Slippery stuff, kids covered from head to toe with little white bubbles! My anonymous town in New England has so much fun on July 4th!
