  Hi guys,

Yesterday night I was talking to some friends and we were discussing about
the quality and practicity of using ageneral purpose zoom as the Canon
28-200mm USM f3.5-5.6 or two zooms as a 28-105mm and a 100-300mm.
I always read replies and articles against the 28-200mm and the 28-300mm
lenses and its poor optical quality ... but is the Canon 28-200mm USM
f3.5-5.6 as optically poor as a Sigma 28-300mm??? There is any
wide-long-tele zooms avaible in the market with a good optical (and
consequentially image) quality???

  Thanks,

  Charles
