OK What would you do? A friend of mine has found a film (exposed negative) on a mountain path in Scotland. No means of ID except that someone had obviously taken the trouble to take it. Should he a) throw it out in the trash b) get it developed out of curiosity c) get it developed because he was intrigued by the challenge of locating the owner. d) get it developed because it might contain an award-winning landscape shot On the down side of course d) it would cost him a few dollars to get it processed e) it might contain "unsuitable" images and the boys in blue would come knocking f) the reality is it is highly unlikely he could ever locate the owner. I suppose if it contained people someone might notice, but even for a site with thousands of hits it is unlikely to be seen when there are hundreds of millions of photographers ... Q?
