eek. where is that save_ something coming from? Apache uses apachectl which seems pretty forward - pg_ctl seems to be in the same spirit. Naming it pgctl could simplify typing and making it a wrapper (similar to zopectl :-) with start/stop/status/debug/run ... could have some benefit.
