Trying to figure out above:

sydcosausd001.enterprisenet.org is your dev

sydcosafpp001.enterprisenet.org  is your prod

Correct?

You are trying to run the pgBackRest on the dev machine, so why is there a remote process failure on the prod?

    I may be wrong, but is the above path in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Why do
    you expect it to be picked auto magically.
