We are running it on the same server with the database and there is not much else besides Postgres running on that server. Windows server 2012 OS. We have tried running it as the admin role and a superuser role – neither one fixes the issue. While it is running, we can typically step into/over 2 or things, and then the debugger just locks up. We end up having to kill the process in Task Manager after it locks up – waiting, etc., change nothing. Has anyone had this issue and have any good ideas? We have Postgres (and the debugger) running on several Win 2012 environments (server and desktop versions) and they all have the same issue. SO perhaps it is some kind of config issue?
If you get a stack trace of the stuck process someone as well as the debugger someone might be able to help.
