You can't on Windows, unless you're running a 64-bit build on a 64-bit OS.

Given that Pg on Windows doesn't perform as well with lots of shared memory, why do you want to? In any case, 2GB of shared memory wouldn't leave you any address space for anything else important.

I wouldn't want to go above 1GB on 32-bit Windows.
