postgresql.org relay failing?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Joshua Drake and Marc Fournier,

I sent this to you a week ago and I'm still having problems. Some
people just don't get the messages delivered; I just had a person who
couldn't subscribe to pgsql-es-ayuda because hosting.commandprompt.com
refuses to relay the confirmation message.

Please fix hosting.commandprompt.com or disable it, because some people
is losing mail from the lists. I continually receive bounces like the
one below. Note that this only happens with commandprompt.com; other
relayers work fine.

Joshua, Marc,

I am starting to think that there's something weird about the
commandprompt.com relay server. I own the pgsql-es-ayuda mailing list
and receive a lot of bounces that look similar to the one attached.
Observe the fact that hosting.commandprompt.com seems to be denying
relay:
(I get these with different mail addresses, somewhat randomly -- I think
the rest of the list gets the mail through different relays ...)

I'd appreciate you having a look into the problem. Thanks.
