This position involves writing and maintaining backend database code for EnterpriseDB's Postgres Plus Advanced Server and PostgreSQL; reviewing and testing patches written by other team members, and assistance in resolving customer issues. A qualified candidate will have 8-15 years of experience with the following: - Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science discipline. - At least 5 years of recent C/C++ programming experience. - Significant knowledge of database internals, either with PostgreSQL or some other RDBMS. - Previous involvement with the PostgreSQL community or another open source community is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills - Solid communication skills in English, both orally and in writing. - Highest level of personal and professional integrity. - Experienced in working with a global team. -- With Regards, Amit Kapila.
