What You Need:

* Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL
* Ability to ensure system scalability, security, performance and reliability
* Experience with setting up and maintaining replication, backups, and recovery processes
* Ability to work with a team in the hands-on development of database solutions, including the need to understand business, technology, and architecture requirements
* Knowledge of modeling tools to document database designs
* Experience maintaining production databases, including patch and release management, analyzing system performance; identifying problems and implementing solutions; reviewing and tuning complex SQL statements
* Experience in data analytics and generating business statistics
* Experience with importing data from a variety of sources, including external files and various Foreign Data Wrappers.
* Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS
* Experience with virtualized containers such as Docker
* Python knowledge a Plus
