Good afternoon,

Centro (Located in the River North area in Chicago)  is seeking a full-time PostgreSQL DBA for their ongoing support, maintenance, optimization, and upgrades of their Postgres RDBMS. They have been using Postgres for 5-6 years and are growing their data/IT department, so they will need someone who can completely optimize Postgres.

Ideally, this candidate would have strong experience with big data tools such as MapR, Cloudera, and Hadoop, but this is not required. They are hoping to hire someone by the end of this week.

This is a full-time role (could be C2H) and is required to be on-site every day. They are willing to pay "contractor rates for full-time people" –

Centro is a media company that has realized they have not fully utilized their database in the past and want to grow their business up Big plus for any Big Data folks, but anyone looking for a FT opportunity in Chicago should reach out. My contact information is listed below, thanks!
