Fujitsu Australia Software Technology (FAST) is seeking an experienced C programmer to join our PostgreSQL development team. The selected candidate will be located in FAST's offices in Sydney, Australia. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
Main job responsibilities are: - Design and Develop new features in PostgreSQL to satisfy the demands of FAST customers - Co-ordinating the development work between various teams in Fujitsu - Identifying and analyzing features that will benefit the wider PostgreSQL user base - Maintaining the code base and creating bug fixes and necessary patches Candidates should ideally have the following: - At least 3 years of experience in C programming - Strong experience in PostgreSQL internals and design - Experience in developing applications with ECPG will be a big plus - Preference will be given to candidates with PostgreSQL Open Source Community involvement - Any familiarity with COBOL or mainframe programming will be an advantage If you are interested in this opportunity and satisfy the requirements above, please forward your resume to arul(at)fast(dot)au(dot)fujitsu(dot)com Thanks Arul Shaji |
