Try:


lsof | grep postgres | grep base


(assuming your user is "postgres")

I did all kinds of troubleshooting to find the answer

cd /var/lib/pgsql/9.4/data
-bash: cd: /var/lib/pgsql/9.4/data: No such file or directory

this is the issue

the path refereed is empty

any suggestions ?

I tried find to locate the pg_log and conffiles nothing returned except
config sameples
