Hi all, Thanks for your time. I need help with authentication using ldap. I finished all this steps. 1]configured LDAP 2]Loaded system and user group data into ldap 3]chnged nsswitch to files ldap for group passwd 4]changed /etc/ldap.conf 5]used authconfig to turn on ldap configuaration. Did not chnage indivudual services to make use pam_ldap.so yet. The problem starts here.All the document does not talk much authconfig utility and system-auth service in pam.d. How does system-auth play in pam service configurations. I am missing some thing here.I have nsswitch.conf to use files and ldap.So I stopped ldap expecting services to work getting information from files but it not so. ........Please help Thanks for you time Partha __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
