I'm interested in your pam_ldap modifications, and I assume others on the list are as well.
I'm interested too. I haven't followed the whole thread, but our university is changing from a novell tree to an AD forest and I'd like to be able to seamlessly integrate some linux boxes into that. Ideally I wouldn't have to create users on every box, I could rely on the ad server for authentication and then autocreate the account, like you can do with Novell's Dynamic User Profile. And if it was able to restrict login by domain, that would be even better.
