Has there been any consideration or foundation presented on PAM/ftp and
reply codes for the PAM_CONVERSATION. It appears that the ftp would
perform the PAM basic authentication and PAM conversation, but a method
to communicate with the client is (at least to me) not yet been found.
I checked the RFC's with the earliest one dating back to 1975 with no
mention of PAM. Looks like a serious update should be made, if one
hasn't been done already. Anyone know???
