Every time i log in using ssh, I get a message in my syslog that says "pam_limits: cannot initialize". The /etc/limits file exists and is set up properly. And, one last thing. This has probably been reported before, but I'll tell you anyway... The "make install" step makes the wrong symlinks in /lib. It symlinks from /lib/libpam.so to /lib/libpam.so.0.74, which doesn't exist, because "make install" installed it with another name (sorry, don't remember exacly this either).
