regards, any news on pam_chroot?, is it even posible to do such a beast? i didn't fully understand how a pam module could do something like a chroot. is there such a module on Solaris PAM?, i've been unable to find any info other that one "alpha" module posted on April on ftp://ferret.lmh.ox.ac.uk/users/weejock/pam_chroot-0.1.tar.gz there is also another module (but witha broken link to the implementation) on : http://hoochie.linux-support.net/software/ what was the pam_chroot supposed to do?, something as the SVR4 "standard" thas is explained on : http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue42/tag/4.html if is what is meant to do, wouldn't be easier to use a "pam_list" module to validate which users to do chroot or not and run the chroot inside the daemon? thanks in advance for your comments, Carlo
