Hi Dirk, I'm forwarding your message to pam-list@redhat.com, which is the real discussion list for PAM. There are several pam modules around that do kerberos 5 authentication. One such module ships with RedHat. Someone on this list may be able to point you to others if that one doesn't meet your needs. Basic authentification (kinit/klist, login.krb5) work. But I don't find a pam module (or the correct settings for this module on a debian system). And I don't know what I have to set in the passwd and shadow file for the user to get the authentification against kerberos but the home locally. Anybody who can help me?
