OKay, thank you. I guess today is a good day to test on a few oddball
system architectures. I suspect there are very very few people out there
running actual HPE Itanium hardware or big-endian IBM POWER and that
often raises a few bugs that slip under the radar.

Itanium is rare (we've stopped supporting it)...

Well I can report only two tests fail :

Test Summary Report
-------------------
04-test_bio_dgram.t (Wstat: 256 (exited 1) Tests: 1 Failed: 1)
  Failed test: 1
  Non-zero exit status: 1
65-test_cmp_client.t (Wstat: 256 (exited 1) Tests: 2 Failed: 1)
  Failed test: 1
  Non-zero exit status: 1
Files=312, Tests=3685, 18523 wallclock secs (46.06 usr 1.22 sys + 18271.89 cusr 170.74 csys = 18489.91 CPU)
Result: FAIL

So that is pretty cool on an Itanium :

garak$
garak$ uname -a
Linux garak 6.6.30-gentoo-ia64 #1 SMP Tue May 14 20:07:58 UTC 2024 ia64 Madison GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
garak$

Now I am going to go digging and see where those tests fail. May be
something trivial.

garak$
garak$ find . | grep 'test_bio_dgram'
./test-runs/test_bio_dgram
./test/recipes/04-test_bio_dgram.t
garak$
garak$ find . | grep 'test_cmp_client'
./test-runs/test_cmp_client
./test/recipes/65-test_cmp_client_data
./test/recipes/65-test_cmp_client_data/client.csr
./test/recipes/65-test_cmp_client_data/client.key
./test/recipes/65-test_cmp_client_data/server.key
./test/recipes/65-test_cmp_client_data/server.crt
./test/recipes/65-test_cmp_client_data/client.crt
./test/recipes/65-test_cmp_client.t
garak$

No obvious output log files there.
