Peter , I don't consider it a bug; But I will point out that I couldn't find this issue anywhere in the mail list archives or on any of the available search engines. I was just trying to save some poor sap from having to go through two hours of thinking he misconfigured nntpcache when the upstream proxy doesn't conform to the RFC. It was only AUTHINFO USER/PASS that seemed to be case sensitive. On a good note, this is an extremely responsive community and those are hard to come by.
