[NNTPCACHE] NNTPCACHE Scalability for Large Numbers of Users

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Shalom!

This sounds like a 1950s monster movie: LISA Meets NNTPCACHE -- "LISA",
as in Large Installed Systems Administration.

Specifically, a distributed environment of internetworked universities,
colleges, and other post-secondary academic institutions (250K users,
and growing). We currently run INN/2.3.2 (CNFS) on a P-III/500 w/512MB
RAM running Linux (RedHat/7.0) and experience load averages from 2.5 -
5.

Does anyone have firsthand (not anecdotal) experience with NNTPCACHE in
a similar or comparable setting?
