NNTPC: ":" in a path

"."s should probably be okay, as long as you check for ".." and don't
accept those.
Also, I haven't looked at it, but why is it trying to do "."? 
Shouldn't they be converted to "/" if from the group name to a path
name?

PS: I have seen that log message, and right now I am still in test mode
and so only accessing servers on port 119.  Maybe it's related to
accessing more then one server?
