We're testing nntpcache and it works ok, except for the
following problem.... I have a line in nntpcache.access file like below hosts borland.*,microsoft.* read,post note: host is replaced with actual ip address. when i open my reader ( outlook or netscape) and open the borland or microsoft newsgroups i get the ff. message: you do not have connect permissions in the nntpcache.access file. but when i change the line again to: hosts * read,post it works ok. is there something wrong with this statement? hosts borland.*,microsoft.* read,post the reason why i am doing this is to limit the hosts to particular newsgroups. please advice thank you |
