Thanks that seems to build fine. However I can't seem to find any example
on how to actually set this up to work in the nntpcache.access file.

I have tried a line such as
*	*	read,post,auth
and
*	*	read,post,auth	* 	pam

Is this documented anywhere on to get pam authentication happening?
