Error: 411 no such group

Hey all,

I installed nntpcache-0.92.5UL (ran nntpcache-0.8x.abc just fine) and
when connecting to the service with a newsreader I get the NEWSGROUPS
but whenever I select a newsgroup for reading I get Error: 411 no such
group

I must be missing something odd here. All groups show up in the list.

Also (I cache from usenet.cisco.com) the directory

/var/spool/newscache/usenet.cisco.com.

is created but empty.

I also noticed 2 cache.mmap files ...

One in /etc/nntpcache the other in /var/spool/newscache

any help/hint is very much appreciated.

(I run nntpcache on a SparcLinux, again versions < 90 did work, I just
wanted to test your newer stuff).

Note: I don't use nntpcache in a production environment (I may if I can
convince management).

 Greetings,
