I tried looking at the mailing list archives at http://www.support.nl/online/nntpquery.html but they are down (no index is available). I have a setup where I have a local News server (INN) running on port 1119, as well as a news feed from news.clear.net.nz (running DNews). I have just installed nntpcache 2.4.0b2 (2.4.0b3 compiles and runs, but doesn't bind any ports). The local server is being feed the nz.* groups via a different route, and is also available from news.clear.net.nz. When I start nntpcached, I get one of the following messages in my log for each group that is on both servers: nntpcache-update[17324]: list.c:322: listmerge() ignored news.clear.net.nz->active.times->nz.test: group not bound to this server I cannot see any of these groups when I attach with a reader ('group nz.test' gives me 441 No such group).
