I tried to update from 2.4.0b1 to 2.4.0b3, because 1 user here uses Forte Agent which seems to show a y2k problem. But 2.4.0b3 seems to make it worse. Now not even other newsreaders are now connecting. At a first glance there seem to be 2 gross errors in newgroups.c: array t[4]; is 1 element too short. And arg1[len-4] = '0' seems to be incorrect also ( perhaps ... = 0; ? ) Worse. It is not even possible to connect to the version of nntpcached at all, at most tries. Yes, 1 time I got connection, but any newgroups cmd failed.
