Okay. Syslog tells me that the authorization borked coming back from the remote server. I have the user:pass@server.net line in my nntpcache.servers file exactly as the example. Is there something I need to turn on at compile time in the 2.4 beta release? I've attached the syslog snippet below. I've been SIGTERM-ing the leftover process to close it out. That okay?
