This is free software, with the exception that commercial/government bodies who potentially save/make huge amounts of make money out of it have to contribute a very reasonable amount to the development costs. The developers of this software do not draw salaries and live directly off the labour of their own minds/reputations. Programmer has got to eat. We specifically excluded those government departments usually stapped for hard cash despite having great worth, such as education, medical treatment and research, and non-military scientific research. We have made the source open and available too all, because we follow RMS's apparently nutty philosophy that ideas are woven from ideas. Further, we have given a free licence to one commercial site who did some high-quality beta testing [only one commercial site falls into that latter category at present]. Man, I'm definately going to the god head at this this rate. -- "Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies, The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
